Magic the Gathering

Het Spellenhuis is de plek voor Magic, zowel voor het kopen als voor het spelen.

Magic Commander Decks

Begin je net met Magic of heb al meer ervaring: een Commander Deck is een goed begin aan de hobby of het begin met een nieuw deck. Commander speel je het liefst met 4 of 5 tegenstanders. Iedere speler heeft een deck van 100 kaarten en iedere kaart mag je maximaal 1x in je deck hebben zitten (behalve normale landjes). Wekelijks hebben we in de Spellenhuis Café's Commander toernooien, in de agenda vind je de details.

Magic Boosters

Als je je deck beter wilt maken dan zijn losse pakjes een goede manier. Iedere Magic serie heeft zijn eigen boosters. Je weet van tevoren niet wat er in een booster zit maar wel welke kaarten je kan verwachten. Om je deck beter te maken kan je het beste kiezen voor een set boosters. Wil je gaan draften? Koop dan de draft boosters. Voor de verzamelaars zijn er de Collectors Boosters. Hierin zetten veel top kaarten met special artwork.

Magic Booster Box

Met een Boosterbox krijg je het meeste waar voor je geld. In een Draft Boosterbox zitten 36 pakjes, bij een Set Boosterbox heb je 30 boosters. Koop je een Collecter Boosterbox dan krijg je 12 boosters. Als je een Boosterbox koopt dan krijg je er meestal een box promokaart bij. Helaas is dit niet standaard omdat Wizards of the Coast (hebben in het begin ook nog de Pokemon TCG uit gegeven) moeilijk kan kiezen hoe ze dat aan kan pakken met de Box Promo’s.

Magic Toernooien

Er zijn veel manieren om Magic te spelen:

Commander speel je met een 100 kaarten deck tegen meer dan 1 tegenstanders.

Modern speel je met een 60 kaarten deck en je mag geen hele oude kaarten gebruiken.

Bij Legacy mogen bijna alle kaarten meedoen en speel je ook met een 60 kaarten deck.

Boosterdrafts, ieder speler krijgt 3 pakjes je maakt een pakje open kiest een kaart en geeft de rest van de kaarten door. Je pikt een 40 kaarten deck bij elkaar en daar wordt mee gespeeld. De boosters krijg je van de organisatie.

Sealed Deck is het formaat van de prereleases, je krijgt 6 boosters en maakt daar een 40 kaarten deck van.

Bij het Spellenhuis houden we wekelijks vele Magic Toernooien, kijk in de agenda wat we wanneer houden.

Accessoires

Om je kaarten in topconditie en waardevast te houden, adviseren we altijd om met hoesjes te spelen. Wil je het helemaal goed doen, double sleeve dan je kaarten. Deckboxen, ruilmappen en speelmatten zijn natuurlijk nodig om goed beslagen ten ijs te komen.
