In the 2400s, mankind begins to terraform the planet Mars. Giant corporations, sponsored by the World Government on Earth, initiate huge projects to raise the temperature, the oxygen level, and the ocean coverage until the environment is habitable. In Terraforming Mars, you play one of those corporations and work together in the terraforming process, but compete for getting victory points that are awarded not only for your contribution to the terraforming, but also for advancing human infrastructure throughout the solar system, and doing other commendable things.
The players acquire unique project cards (from over two hundred different ones) by buying them to their hand. The projects (cards) can represent anything from introducing plant life or animals, hurling asteroids at the surface, building cities, to mining the moons of Jupiter and establishing greenhouse gas industries to heat up the atmosphere. The cards can give you immediate bonuses, as well as increasing your production of different resources. Many cards also have requirements and they become playable when the temperature, oxygen, or ocean coverage increases enough. Buying cards is costly, so there is a balance between buying cards (3 megacredits per card) and actually playing them (which can cost anything between 0 to 41 megacredits, depending on the project). Standard Projects are always available to complement your cards.
Your basic income, as well as your basic score, is based on your Terraform Rating (starting at 20), which increases every time you raise one of the three global parameters. However, your income is complemented with your production, and you also get VPs from many other sources.
In the not so distant future, mankind has finally decided to spread beyond the
boundaries of our world. The United Nations is giving out subsidies to any corporation
who will invest time and money into the terraforming of the great red planet. Great
prestige and opportunities await the company which makes the biggest impact on
making Mars habitable. In Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition, each player will
take on the role of a corporation working to build oceans, raise the temperature,
and increase the oxygen level in Mars’ atmosphere. This is accomplished during
simultaneous play, through phases chosen by each of the players. Each player will
have a hand full of project cards which they will build and utilize in order to race their
fellow entrepreneurs and gain the highest Terraforming Rating.
Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition is a standalone, card game version of the best
selling game Terraforming Mars. It features all the same complexity of strategy and
decision making in half the playtime, and is easily enjoyed by both new players and
Terraforming Mars veterans alike. How quickly can you terraform Mars?
Our world has widened before us. Corporations expand their operations to all corners of the solar system in pursuit of minerals and resources. Most places are not suited for terraforming, but building colonies may greatly improve your income and your possibilities in achieving that higher goal — the terraforming of Mars. Send your trade fleet to distant moons! Colonize the clouds of Jupiter! And let your Earth assets propel you to success!
Terraforming Mars: Colonies, an expansion for Terraforming Mars that can be played with only the base game or with any combination of expansions, lets you visit the outer solar system. It features colony tiles where you can build colonies and send your trade fleet. It also includes new cards and corporations.

After start of terraforming Mars World government sees next goal in colonisation of Venus. But that is much harder, maybe for millenias. Expansion includes 49 new projects, 5 corporations and Venus board.
In Terraforming Mars Ares Expedition: Crisis, players will play as corporations, just as in the original Ares Expedition. You choose phases and play project cards as normal. The difference is players are working together to keep Mars habitable after a natural disaster has landed the planet in crisis. Every round, a new Crisis card will be drawn that will require the players to achieve a certain goal to remove that crisis from play. Each turn that a Crisis card is not completely dealt with, it will lower one or more of the terraforming metrics that keep Mars habitable.
Handle all the crises as they arise. Eventually, a Crisis card will be drawn that allows the players to win the game once they have completed re-terraforming Mars.
Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game, is a card driven dice game where players use special dice to develop their corporations and terraform Mars into a new home for humanity. The dice represent resources that players spend to play cards and perform other actions. During the game you increase your production of dice, you terraform and place cities and greenery tiles on the board and gain various bonuses. Each turn, you either produce new dice (Production Turn) or perform actions (Action Turn).
Whenever you terraform Mars (raise oxygen or temperature, or place an ocean tile), you gain 2 Victory Points (VP). You can also gain VP for placing tiles and playing cards, as well as winning Awards and Milestones.
The game ends when 2 of the 3 global parameters have been completed (oxygen/temperature/ocean). The player with most VP wins the game.
This thick, sturdy box includes over 90 gorgeous, multi-piece tiles and markers to make your terraforming game nights a visual masterpiece.
Terraforming Mars - Small Box: Want to keep your game in one box and the 3D tiles in another? Then this is the one for you, all the beautiful 3D tiles in one attractive box just for these items.

Experience two fantastical centuries of expansions and combat in Paper Tales. Remodel your assorted assembly of characters, units, and buildings in each period based on your developments and the age of your heroes. Write a new legend of the rightful ruler who brought unity to the rival kingdoms.
In more detail, Paper Tales is a simultaneous drafting card game. Each turn, players draft five units that they then recruit into their kingdom — assuming that they can pay. These choices determine the players ability to shine in battle, generate great income, construct dominant buildings, and earn legend points. There are only four hiring positions available during the four rounds of the play, but your units grow older with each turn until time takes them away.
Build a comprehensive strategy and adapt the shape of your realm according to opportunities and restrictions and you will make history!
Blinded by their quest for power, Kingdoms progressively break the barriers of forbidden knowledge. In occult and illicit places, necromancers and alchemists dig deeper each day towards the doors of the Underworld. At the risk of awakening something that goes far beyond their imagination...
Paper Tales: Beyond the Gates contains twenty new units and six new buildings that are meant to both preserve the balance of the base game and enhance its possibilities and replay value. With this expansion, players can now start with a set of seven buildings available, out of eleven, and these buildings are different every game. Each new building opens new strategies, as does the impact of the new units.
Beyond the Gate also includes all components needed for supporting up to seven players. It also includes a solo mode in which a single player has to face the powerful armies of the Lich King. This mode comes with specific Necropolis and Lich King cards.
Terraforming Mars Ares Expedition: Discovery adds four new mechanics to base Ares Expedition: awards, milestones, upgraded phase cards, and wild tags.
Awards are end-of-game scoring that are granted to the player with the most of something. Three awards are drawn at the beginning of the game so that players know what they will be rewarded for at the end of the game. The player with the most of that item earns 5VP, second place earns 2VP.
Milestones are VP that are awarded during the game. They are granted to the player to first achieve the milestone. Milestones are worth 3 VP at the end of the game.
Some new project and corporation cards allow players to upgrade their phase cards. Each phase card has two different version that players choose from when they upgrade them. The upgrade gives the player a better bonus when they choose that phase.
Some new project cards have a wild tag. Whenever a player reveals this card either from the deck (due to an effect) or from their hand because they are going to play it, that player chooses what tag they want it to be. Tokens are used to keep track of what tag was chosen for the rest of the game.
In Second Chance, each player starts with a 9×9 grid that they want to fill as completely as possible. To begin the game, everyone receives a different card with a starting tile and marks off its spaces on their grid.
Every turn, two puzzle tile cards are revealed, and each player chooses one of them, then marks off squares on their personal grid that match the shape of the image shown on their chosen card. Multiple players can choose the same card. If a player cannot fit either revealed shape into their grid, they get a second chanceand reveal one card from the deck just for them. If they can fit this shape in their grid, they do continue normally next round; otherwise they are eliminated from play.
The game ends when all players have been eliminated, the deck of puzzle cards has run out, or a player has completely filled their grid. If someone has filled their grid, they win. If all players have been eliminated or the deck ran out of cards, then whoever has the fewest empty spaces wins.
Space Cadets: Resistance Is Mostly Futile is the first expansion for the original Space Cadets game. A variety of new missions, map obstacles, and enemies are included to challenge both novice and veteran crews. Even missions for just two players! Blast parasites, save a space station and stop the mighty Star Kraken, an enemy unlike any you have faced before. Also Cadets, be sure to welcome your new crew mate, the Science Officer! Any difficulty can be bested with one of his helpful inventions... If only they weren't made of parts of the ship. Survive lasers and tentacles and the well-meaning Science Officer tearing apart your ship and prove that you deserve the title of a true Space Cadet!
New spies arrive to town and with new abilities. Besides Estoril, players will also fight in Lisbon, where they will find new ways to create the best network of spies.
Space Cadets: Dice Duel – Die Fighter brings two new experiences to the Dice Duel universe to give veterans a whole new way to play: • Fighters are flown by a single person and are fast and maneuverable, but lack shields and can be easily destroyed. In "Carrier Strike", suitable for 6-10 players, each team gets one original ship (now called a Capital Ship) and one fighter. "Fighter Assault" has two fighters trying to take out a single heavily armed capital ship and is designed for 4-6 players. Finally, "Fighter Duel" brings the Dice Duel experience to two players, as two fighters go head-to-head for a quick and intense battle. • Experimental Equipment cards upgrade the capital ships with a variety of unique and powerful abilities. Through a draft mechanism, each side selects two upgrades and needs to tailor their strategy to take advantage of their strengths. The 27 cards include new weapons, enhancements to existing systems, new movement options, and more.
NOT ALONE: Exploration is the first expansion for NOT ALONE.
It includes new Hunt cards for the Creature, new Survival cards for the Hunted, and new Location cards for the planet. These 10 new Locations can be played together, or they can be mixed with Locations from the base game, giving NOT ALONE an almost infinite combination of places to explore.
Come visit the planet Artemia again, if you dare, in NOT ALONE: Exploration.
